Taimon stories — by Gideon Kouts, a satirical columnist in Davar, who spent a lot of time at Café Taimon, a chain of coffeehouses founded in 1938 in Jerusalem. It was especially prominent in the 1960s and 1970s.
For years, Café Taimon, opposite the first Knesset, was a meeting place for bohemians.
He wrote these stories for you: they made you laugh, disgusted you, angered you, enchanted you. In short, they moved you.
